The other weekend I visited a friend who lives close to Montpellier in the south of France. July is not a great time for photography there, but if you're in a cave that doesn't matter.
All of these are handheld, with a 28mm lens. The tour was moving too fast to set up my tripod, so I tried to balance reasonably long exposures, DOF and ISO.
The place is amazing, though. I often come out disappointed when trying photography in caves, but here I just loved what I saw and could capture.
Very cool, looks like a fun adventure that you came back with some great photos of! I particularly like the formations in photo four, looks sorta evil.

Very impressive! Caves could be tricky to photograph. These show depth well, esp. #3 & 4.
Thanks, indeed tricky, this is probably my best result to date (well, out of just a few attempts).

Many thanks! There were a couple that looked a bit evil, indeed.
