Interesting story. My brother in law stopped by in April a few years ago and agreed to let me take his picture. He died a couple months later. The family was so glad we had some good images of him. This encouraged me to begin taking more portraits of people.
People need to be documented. Nothing can stir emotions like looking at the people you know from long ago, or that have passed. This one is good stuff. B&W is a good choice.
Beautiful portrait. I do have some regrets that I didn't have the courage or initiative to photograph some family members and friends who are no longer with me.
Absolutely gorgeous portrait. Beautiful light right down to the tiny reflection in his eye, great background and perfect expression that says a great deal about his personality. Classic!!
