I'm putting this lens up for sale with no small amount of reluctance.
As you likely know, these exotic super-teles are the flagships of the Nikkor lineup. This 300mm in particular was my dream lens for years before I finally bought it, and it has not disappointed. It's an exceptional bit of glass, and it's been a joy to shoot with.
I'm only selling it now because I'm a hobbyist with two kids about to head off to college, and can't really justify it at the moment.
The lens shows some signs of use, but is in great condition overall. The mount is clean, the glass is perfect, and everything operates flawlessly.
The lens come with the original packaging and all accessories, including both caps, the HK-30 carbon-fiber hood, padded half-pouch, and ballistic nylon carrying case (the case itself is excellent, and can be adjusted to secure the lens on its own or with an SLR attached).
