Just a heads up… at least on my display there is something odd going on with the sky. Rather than smooth gradients in the clouds, instead I see discrete light levels with no detail within the areas. Perhaps Something with the format you used ot upload the files? Or perhaps something that is only seen on my current display? (iPad Pro?)

Does anyone else see this, or is it just me? (Especially noticeable on the right side of the sky.)

I see it too - is this the "painterly" effect you were going for? I'm afraid the foreground doesn't have anything to add to the composition, so this doesn't work for me.

Gdan, Jim & frig: Thanks to each of you for commenting.

The sky is supposed to have a "painterly" quality. Some viewers will like it, while others will not. I enjoy trying different approaches in my photography works.

I think if I were going for that effect I would blend the colors a bit more. Right now it looks a bit like a low bit bmp was years past, rather than a painted sky.

The colors are there, and I think I see where you were going.
