Masterful photography Dan!
mesmerizing.....to me, the environment presented you with a challenge that you handled quite well imho!
That "area" lends itself to folklore...leadership, conflict, peace(?), let's say "mutual 'at arms'....very well conveyed here. Yes a study in "composition" here...
