This relic never gets to my area. I do have the B&O RR museum in Baltimore with "loads" of historic engines but just seem to not be able to "get over there".

If I understand correctly, BB will eventually come to rest here in St. Louis at the Transportation Museum. Would have loved to gotten a shot with BB and Stan together, but the logistics on that isn't viable.

When traveling to the West Coast I crossed a bridge(I70?) that showed a RR bridge and possible "Stan" in the "frame"..1979-1980..
Possible that you could "see" that if it did exist? Just inquiring..

Possible, but not the ROUTE that Union Pacific chose to run ... at least nothing with a vantage point I could find ... I certainly looked.
