In the days of slide shows you could reckon 200 was the maximum you could use, in a show lasting a couple of hours, before audience gets fidgety or goes to sleep. I try to aim for absolute max of that in an 'album' to show the story of a trip, if it's a long one then will be broken down into logical sections.It takes quite a while to select 200 from say 1500, and then process those. Most I ever took in film days was 27 x36exp in a 5 week trip to South Pacific and New Zealand. Digital was about the same in a 3 week trip, spraying around as ever you tend to miss the best moments by not looking hard enough. IMHO of course. Can't see any point in giving myself hours of work rejecting poorly thought out trigger happy stuff.

Yep, fact of life when you're a pro, rarely have rights to your own photos taken at work.
Anyway most of them were topical news stories and features from decades ago, without context would be un interesting. I'm 82 so 'work' was a while ago...

Lol, spent years doing that sometimes as a pro, having only 12 exposures or even 36, teaches you to know the right moments.
Here's the thing about your golden memories of capturing the perfect moment - You have no idea if they even happened.
You have no comparison to the other shots you would have taken with digital. No window into what was possible if you expanded beyond the limitations of your gear.
Take more photos not less.

HB charging is so slow you have to use an extra battery and a charger! Charger is using USB too.

x100vi is a cheap camera comparing to almost everything people compare it to. Just stating some facts...
I don't know what hype you caught. On a fujifilm side youtube/meta advertises xh2 to me. And I turned off recommendations from most camera "influencers". I did not see a single x100vi video for a long-long time.
A long time ago I returned x100v because it could not focus right in some simple situations, which I found ridiculous, and viewfinder gave me headaches. You can probably return it too.

You'd think that after paying such a high premium from a high end point and shooter, that they would include one. Also, is it just me or is this camera just not as hyped as it is currently? I'd rather shoot with my a7iv setup and not have to bother with all the film sims and recipes.
