p.1 #1Has anyone used iPhone Air for Remote Shooting (Sony Creators App) with USB cable?
Hi All. I'm eying the light iPhone Air to replace my older phone and don't need all the camera functions of the Pro models. But I would like to use it occasionally as a monitor for my Sony camera, connected via USB-C cable. I know I can use the + Creators App Remote Shooting wirelessly but I'd prefer to use the USB cable to avoid any lag / latency.
However, even though the iPhone Air has a USB-C port, it only has USB-2 speeds (480 Mbps). I'm wondering if Remote Shooting will work with that throttled speed. I'm not interested in data transfer, just the monitor function.
Is there anyone out there with an iPhone Air who has tried this?
