I'm retired now but spent 30 years as a professional doing weddings, portraits, and corporate work. Consequently, I look at these images and appreciate all the factors you had to consider and set up for, to obtain such excellent results. Again, congrats.

I found my old 1981 bodybuilder prints..
These are images were taken for a event sponsor,the Weider brothers in Venice, CA, for "body id" only for the "Mr. Olympia" contest that Fall 1981...So the image is NOT of good quality..shot with a Canon AE1- 50mm f1.2(?). FD lens..
Finally some rain and cool temps an NO humidity..

Back then "body oil" was widely used as something to enhance the visual "cuts" in muscle physiology.. they present issues for any photographer with the light glare off the oil

Very nice! I think they still use oil for the same effect. I just prefer a little more subtle effect for my own photo shoots, though I would assume my expectations and the judges expectations are far different.

as I mentioned..the glare from the oil is a photographer's nightmare!
The "cuts" are there and the new dslrs post, AE-1, show that..
