p.1 #1 · Extracting images from the RAW Burst file
Hi All,
I am considering upgrading my R6 to R6 II to get the pre-capture feature mostly. The one issue I can see is actually extracting the individual images from the RAW Burst file. Is there an efficient way to do it? I have looked around and it seems it can only be done one by one either in the camera or Canon's DPP.
R6 III does look better in terms of everything actually, but I would need to buy a CF memory card and get a new Capture One license (I don't want to get a subscription) as mine doesn't support this camera.
Is there any other way to extract the images?
Thanks!

Let us know if it works because the general understanding has been that none of the major software options supported Canon's proprietary RAW burst file from the R6II.
Be aware that the R6II's pre-capture implementation locks you out of shooting another sequence until the first one has written to the card. If you plan to use this feature in situations where you may need to do quick successive bursts, you will want to use SDXC V90 cards, which unfortunately are (or were the last time I checked) more expensive than CFe Type B cards of the same capacity. Unfortunately (again), memory card prices are just crazy now...
Pre-capture implementation in the R1, R5II and probably the R6III (I have not tried one to confirm) do not lock you out of starting another sequence as long as there is buffer capacity.
