Sorry if this ain't it. I'm not sure where these might fit so I'll just post them here.

These are a few of the results from several attempts at creating an "off the wall" red white and blue explosion situation a couple of years ago to celebrate Independence Day.

They're colorful.
They're red white and blue.
They're an explosion of sorts.

Here's hoping you have a happy and safe Independence Day.

'Merica!

Very cool shots Larry. I really like the wider perspective in these as the "spray" adds lots of interest to the shots. Happy 4th of July!

Three different times over the course of two days I spent a couple of hours dropping a ½" x 1½" fender washer into the glass filled with water a total of 193 times.
Many times the timing (my reflexes) was way off or the washer didn't land just right or the washer was visible at the bottom of the glass or........you get the idea.
All that to answer your question with...........yes.

Thanks for the kind words Dan.
We had a scorcher week as well. Heat indexes into the 105-110 degree range every day. The humidity is the real issue.
It's supposed to "cool off" a little in the coming days but I fear it will still be a little too toasty to venture out into the studio for any length of time.

YES about the humidity! That is the "killer"! I have to gasp for some air when it gets bad here!
Again SUPER presentations Larry!

You guys are making me rethink our planned move to the East Coast next year....it's a balmy 57ºF on the Northwest Coast.

I'm in the mid-west. Dan is on the east coast (more or less). The weather we get frequently gets blown into his back yard. They also experience what's called a nor'easter in the winter time. Those are fun. We don't get those here but we sometimes have something similar. It keeps us on our toes.
We are expecting another round of very hot and humid weather here starting next week. I've already got my little oscillating fan pointed towards Dan's front yard.
The PNW gets quite a bit of rain doesn't it? I don't think I'd be a fan of that.

Yup, I know you are in Indiana and I've been to Ohio enough to know what you deal with, especially in the Winter with frigid winds coming from the north. We're looking at the Villages in Florida where it was 98ºF with 75% humidity. Turns out, I'm not a big fan of not seeing the sun 240 days a year.
