Nikon Zf with Laowa 17mm f/4 Zero-D lens in Montreal.
Got this lens recently. The wide angle and the promise of no or very little distortion was too tempting to pass on. A bit heavy and fiddly to use if you don't have a tripod to set up on. This should not normally be a walk around lens.
The lens was shifted all the way up, with the camera in vertical orientation. Aperture was f/8. There was significant vignetting at the top which is cropped out. Probably its hood getting in the way in that situation.
At full shift the hood is obstructing the light path. It needs to be removed when using larger shifts.
Edit: The shift lens is essentially projecting a portion of a wider focal length and giving you a portion of it. The hood is sized more closely to the 17mm field of view not the much wider view that is actually there to allow the shift.
