This is a Beautiful example of a Carl Zeiss 50mm f1.4 T* Planar. This MMJ (Multi-Metering Japan) series is an AMAZING lens with Great brilliance and color rendition with an angle of view similar to the human eye and a great background bokeh too. It is amazing for portraiture, general photography, Low light imaging, weddings, etc... and a Lot more. It is Perfect for Contax/Yashica mount cameras in addition to other cameras with a proper mount adapter too... Film & Digital alike (including Full Frame cameras).
This lens comes exactly as shown and is in Beautiful near Mint to Mint condition,, the glass is beautiful and this lens works Great.. The glass is very clean, No scratches, No fungus, light dust and Beautiful lens coatings. The focus is silky smooth and the aperture works properly with nice click stops and No oil on the blades. This is a WoW lens that takes great images; camera tested.
This lens comes with a “slip on “made in Germany” Front lens cap (cap shows some light rubs) and its rear lens cap too..
