I am planning on a trip to Cairo Egypt this year.
I was wondering what it is like to take expensive camera to Egypt for safety.

Would appreciate if I can hear some inputs on taking expensive camera gears as tourists.

I have taken expensive cameras to Egypt and many other places. Just like anywhere, be aware of your surroundings and you should not have any problem. I never felt unsafe in Cairo.

Egypt is a well developed and one of the oldest country on earth. I was there 50 years ago and am still impressed seeing what I saw. Don't misss the pyramids and king Tut.
