I note that it appears it's for APS-C bodies. So probably not very useful on full frame.

Yeah, you can't use it on ff unless you modify the rear of the lens, and even then, it will vignette like crazy through out much of the lens range.

I modified the old EF-s 11-22 lens and used it on my old 5D & 6D. It would vignette heavily up till about 15mm, but it was useful.
