Offered for sale is a Nikon NIKKOR ED 500mm f/4 P IF AI-P super telephoto lens. This is the sought-after manual focus AI-P version featuring Nikon’s professional ED (Extra-low Dispersion) optics, Internal Focusing (IF), and built-in CPU contacts.
The lens has been stored indoors and presents exceptionally well with only minimal signs of use.
The lens has been mounted on a compatible Nikon DSLR and functionally tested. The camera recognized the lens correctly, images were successfully captured, and the focus ring, aperture ring, and built-in hood all operated smoothly during testing.
The front and rear elements appear clean and clear. Under bright flashlight inspection, I do not observe any obvious fungus, haze, or element separation.
