Offered for sale is a Nikon NIKKOR ED 500mm f/4 P IF AI-P super telephoto lens. This is the sought-after manual focus AI-P version featuring Nikon’s professional ED (Extra-low Dispersion) optics, Internal Focusing (IF), and built-in CPU contacts.
The lens has been stored indoors and presents exceptionally well with only minimal signs of use.
The lens has been mounted on a compatible Nikon DSLR and functionally tested. The camera recognized the lens correctly, images were successfully captured, and the focus ring, aperture ring, and built-in hood all operated smoothly during testing.
The front and rear elements appear clean and clear. Under bright flashlight inspection, I do not observe any obvious fungus, haze, or element separation. Flashlight inspection photos are included to accurately show the condition of the optics. Please review all photos carefully, as they form part of the description.
