I just returned a rental RF 100-300 and 2X teleconverter that I was evaluating for a possible longer rental for a trip this fall or maybe a purchase. I expect a fair amount of my use would be with the 1.4X and X teleconverters. I recently purchased a PromediaGear gimbal, and it came with a 6-inch Arca Plate with a QR Port, so I mounted that on the lens foot so I could (1) mount the lens on the gimbal, and (2) carry it with my Magpul MS4 Gen2 Dual QD Rifle Sling strap. Unfortunately, this was the aspect of system that I was a bit unsatisfied with. The lens foot is already quite high-profile, and with the plate, it doesn't fit very well in the Canon case, or in my NYA-EVO FJORD 60-C pack. While padding on the inside of the foot makes it reasonably comfortable, I find it a little too short. On the other hand the 6-inch plate seems unnecessarily long for this use.
Historically I've purchased RRS plates and replacement feet for my gear, but RRS doesn't appear to have a replacement foot for the 100-300, so I'm looking for recommendations for one. My criteria are:

- rounded or padded and long enough to make it comfortable to use the foot to carry the lens with my hand
- compatible with an Arca-swiss clamp
- long enough to balance the lens with 2X teleconverter and R5II on a gimbal

I was able to install the 'short foot' from my 200-400 on the 100-300 so I'd guess any aftermarket foot that fits the 200-400 would work.

Low profile, fits TT Advantage roller, for safaris when I don’t need QD
PromediaGear LC2:
Longer, so better for balancing the lens w/2x on a monopod. Has QD (used with PMG QD swivels). This is the most comfy/secure for hand carry ‘cause I don’t have to grip/hold at a certain angle . Instead the rig is comfortably anchored between my 3rd/4th fingers aka can grab both sides of the stem. The edges are smooth/rounded edge, not sharp corners. Works great/is secure with cold weather gloves.
RRS LCF53: Bought for the QD but taller than the Wimberly, so not needed and never used

I like the Hejnar Photo replacement foot.
It is low profile with still enough room to use as a handle and it has a QD socket.
It doesn't have the rounded or padded top on the foot; however, I haven't found that to be a problem.
I have one for the RF 100-300 and I have one for the RF 400 F2.8.
I tried the Kirk and the Wimberley and both were too tall for my taste.

I followed the link to the Kirk feet that EBH posted, and was wondering what the benefit of the SureGrip textured coating was and whether it was worth $30. Can you or EBH answer that?

It's grippier. Higher friction. If it's wet, much more friction. I find it uncomfortable and until it's "broken in" it leaves faint black dust in your hand. Not for OCD people.
