The Sony lens line, both OEM and third party is unsurpassed in the mirrorless world.
But as much as I love my 24-70, I'd really like it to be a bit longer.
A Nikon shooting friend uses his 24-120 for both landscape and travel with great success.
I would love to have an f/2.8 24-105 or even better an f/4 24-120.

I love hiking with it but the creep sometimes gets to me.
A very under appreciated lens in my opinion. Just gets the job done.

It's OK, but getting old (2017) and could be redesigned for better IQ.
One of the issues Sony has in general is that since they were early to MILS they have a lot of old lenses to be updated.

I know I sold mine for the Nikon 24-120 f/4 and IMO it's the better lens. But I still think the 24-105 is good but could do with an update.
20-105 f/4 GM would be even better than a 24-120 f/4 G.

The Nikon 24-120 F4 S is a nice lens for sure but it's a Nikon Z lens so it's big, pretty heavy and long. I guess a updated Sony 24-120/24-105 will me much smaller, lighter, build of better quality plastic and a bit more expensive.
