Condition
The M4 is in very attractive cosmetic condition with clean engraving, bright chrome, and original vulcanite covering.
The rear vulcanite panel surrounding the film reminder dial experienced minor age-related lifting, a common Leica issue. The original vulcanite pieces are present and have been carefully preserved.
The Summicron 35mm f/2 is cosmetically very clean. Glass appears clear and free of obvious haze or fungus under normal inspection. Focus and aperture operation are smooth.
The rangefinder/viewfinder is bright and usable. Shutter operates through all speeds, although this is vintage equipment and is being sold as a collectible camera without any guarantee of factory specifications.
The Leica MR4 meter is included as a vintage accessory and collector item.
This is a wonderful opportunity to acquire a complete classic Leica M4 kit with matching accessories, boxes, and manuals.
