Hey guys, I programmed a reach calculator. It gives you an equivalent set of focal length/sensor combinations that result in the same number of pixels on your target. It's calculated using pixel pitch:
It's not the same thing as field of view. It's just a free online calculator without ads, trackers, or other bad stuff, and it's not trying to sell you anything either. I just made it for fun.
I use Excel and the pixel pitch from https://www.digicamdb.com or calculate from sensor size.
I rejected the OM in 2022 after noticing it hardly had more reach than the R7. Then the Fuji 40MP has even more. You could add the new Sony 67MP at some point. I think it needs about 415mm for the 500mm of the 45MP sensors. Basically it is like a 500mm on 67MP is about 600mm on 45MP. It also puts the 100-400/4.5 nearly on par with a 500mm.

Yes that is true, the Fuji is almost exactly the same as the 25MP micro four thirds. And I just added the 67MP full-frame of the Sony A7R VI. Thanks for the input!
