Excellent monochrome portrait. Certainly shows a lot of character whether from a reenactment or otherwise. Good combination of pin point detail and soft background.

Regarding the clothing, you are right they are quite hot but luckily it was a very pleasant day. I have attended some reenactment when it was in the 90's and the ambulances were busy taking away the some of the people suffering from heat exhaustion or heart problems
