Do not swear by the moon, for she changes constantly. then your love would also change.
― William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet
I used to watch a lot of YouTube videos by Bryan Peterson, when I started my photography. This photo is made by inspiration from one of his photos from one of his books. This photo is a double exposure shot, first exposure for foreground/middle ground (Jackson Yacht Club) and second exposure for the moon. And thanks to modern day DSLRs, combined into one RAW file (surprisingly my Z9 provides a combined JPEG file with 2 different RAW files). Handholding a 500mm lens for 1/125th of a second was a bit too much to ask for, but my persistence paid off and got a couple decent shots.
PS: The full moon this weekend is called "Blue Micromoon", because it was at its furthest point from Earth, it appeared slightly smaller and dimmer than an average full moon. The photo was taken this morning during the blue hour before sunrise. The pinkish red hue was due to cloud coverage behind the building.
