On a recent trip to NZ, I came across several piers on our route through the South Island. The landscapes surrounding these were often beautiful - to the extent that if ever I have the chance to return, I am strongly considering a route that will deliberately let me seek out more of them, even if it means a detour.
This is a small tribute to NZ piers, seen three ways: featured, framed and fading from view.
