p.2 #1 · Downsizing - what small camera system?

I'm a Sony user - but not A7C series (A6700 and A7riv, though).

If willing to look to aps-c or other smaller sensor, lots of possibilities. The "crop factor" pulls lenses down in size. I skipped the A7C when adding ff. Didn't buy me enough over the larger bodies compared to my aps-c kit. going down from larger ff, might be a different comfort level. Maybe look to either the A6700 and A7CR. which is kind of to say, the A7Cii still doesn't grab me. The A7CR doesn't have the full mechanical shutter but will take aps-c lenses at the same res as the A6700.. Spend some less on the A6700, have full range lens choices, aps-c and ff, with the 61mp A7CR. Consider used pricing?

Try them, not everyone likes the small body/side corner evfs. Or the evfs themselves. However, I don't think either are at too much risk of superceding replacements in the near future.

I got the 70-350 before adding ff. These days I might get the Tamron 50-300 instead - full ff coverage versus loss of 50mm on the long end. Similar sizes. There are both aps-c and ff f2.8 mid-range zooms. F2.8 and zoom range does tend to push lens sizes up, of course.
