I spent the weekend camping up in the mountains, really thankful for the lightweight Sony 300. Doing that climb with the 600 would have taken me out! I did a similar hike 3 years ago in Big Bend for the Colima Warbler, but I'm no spring chicken anymore.
I spent most of the time in the bowl trail area of the park at 7500 ft elevation.
Olive-sided Flycatcher. Common in the park, this young one was always posted up near the trailhead intersection.
