Tuluk is a popular street food in Vanuatu. It's made of grated cassava dough, stuffed with seasoned minced beef or pork, wrapped in a banana leaf, and baked in an underground stone oven.
The sales pitch on the container is in pijin english (Tok Pijin).
"Long Mele" means that this Tuluk is from the nearby island, Mele. "No 1 Tulki" purports it to be the best around, and "100 vt nomo" states the price at "no more" than vt100!
Look at the nose of the boy and its parallel proximity to the cooler edge hinge slot...the boy's locked in stare..the lady's "square", almost perfect dimensionally, For a "GI" "Number 1?? Yes!!! Means "Best" in ANY language!
Processing is wonderful!
