I have not but I have seen some chatter on one of the R3 Facebook groups about some issues with the Camera Connect app after the latest update. That thread mentioned iOS specifically, but it's possible it was happening on Android too.
That said, I don't know whether the users that reported these issues only have R3s or experienced these issues with other R series bodies that recently received firmware updates.
Installed the R3 firmware and no issue, albeit limited use. On the app connection point, the connection to my R3 was not working before the upgrade and neither was it working after the upgrade. I used the traditional method of copying the firmware file to a card and installed from there.
I also upgraded the firmware on my R1. Again, successful but limited use. App connection worked fine before upgrade and fine after.
