Early Helios 44-2 lens (M42 screw-mount), zebra black lacquer version, made in U.S.S.R., known for its classic swirly bokeh and vintage rendering. Manufactured in 1971 in the BelOMO plant in Minsk (Belarus).
Glass in good condition - no haze or fungus. Typical internal dust consistent with age. Focus rendering is smooth. Aperture blades are clean and oil-free. Preset aperture ring is slightly stiff/finicky but functions correctly throughout the full range. Includes Zenit front and rear lens caps.
Adapts easily to modern mirrorless systems (Sony, Nikon Z, Canon RF, etc.) with an inexpensive M42 adapter (adapter not included).
