Up for sale is vintage super-telephoto kit for a unique, nostalgic look without the modern price tag. I have had fun time shooting with it trying to get a feel of what it would be like back in its day.

This combo includes the massive Canon FL 85-300mm lens with both caps, a dedicated Canon FD 2x-A extender (for focal lengths 300 and longer) with both caps, and the Fotasy dumb FD adapter to get you shooting on your Canon R-series camera immediately. Everything is manual at this point. No original case.

Condition Details (Please Read):I believe in 100% transparency so you know exactly what you are getting:

Optics: The glass is free of scratches, haze, or fungus. There is some internal dust and some small internal fiber visible when inspecting the lens. I tried to make it visible in the image shot through the lens. In my experience, this does not affect image quality, but it is there. The aperture blades are clean when inspected with a flashlight. The extender glass is clean.

Cosmetics: The lens body shows its age with various surface scratches and paint dents. It’s a "user" lens, not a shelf queen. The front cap has scratches and is bent a bit but holds on the lens OK.

Mechanics: Focus and zoom rings move as they should.Note: No original case is included. Will be packed very securely for shipping.

Why buy this? Feel the character of 1960s Canon optics just to experience it. Don't expect the performance of contemporary lenses.
