This has been my best friend for a few years and has followed me on countless journeys. I'm sad to let her go. But... I switched to a 58mm f/1.4. The 50 1.2 is just too sharp for me and actually makes me do more work to clean up the skin on all of the brides I photograph; the face has MANY PORES!
The lens is ludicrously sharp and has NEVER failed me. I have babied it to the best of my ability. It's NEVER been dropped and has NEVER been in the rain. Stored in a humidity-controlled environment. There is wear on the area where the lens body meets the lens mount. This is because it's a sharp edge, and a tiny bit of black paint has come off on the edge during handling. There are also some soft scuffs on the lens, maybe 2? (See photos)
The mount is safe and secure. The glass looks wonderful, simply, there is nothing wrong. It DOES NOT include a case or box, sorry. Has both caps and it's hood.
If you want the best 50mm ever made (in terms of quality and sharpness, this is the lens.)
