I bought this lens as a temporary while my "main" 35mm Summilux was being serviced by Leica (took over six months). This 35mm Summilux was purchased used from the Leica Store Miami.
The lens is near mint condition. The only blemishes are some very faint rub marks in the lens hood on the under side. These marks are just in the sheen of the finish, not scratches through silver. If holding the lens at a certain angle to the light, they are visible.
The lens focuses accurately on both my M's (M10-R and M11-M). It's sharp at F1.4 and performs evenly across the frame. The glass is clean and clear. There are no cleaning marks or blemishes in the optics. The focus is very smooth. The aperture ring click nicely from detent to detent.
My lens is finally back from Leica, so it is time for this lens to find a new home.
