For sale is my beautiful all-black Minolta XD-S 35mm film SLR kit, including the Minolta MD 50mm f/1.7 lens and Minolta Auto 200X flash.
This XD-S is in exceptional mint / as-new cosmetic condition and was recently CLA’d by Gary A, widely regarded by many Minolta users as one of the top Minolta technicians in the United States. The service includes warranty coverage from the technician.
CLA details (see image of CLA receipt):
Professionally serviced / CLA’d by Garry Airapetov of Garry’s Camera in March 2026. Work performed included replacement of the light meter sensor, cleaning of the mirror piston mechanism, cleaning of ASA and aperture contacts, full CLA/overhaul, shutter lubrication and adjustment, release magnet cleaning, run-time speed adjustment, lubrication of the winding mechanism, light meter calibration to factory recommended settings, exposure adjustment, new mirror cushion, new light seals, new door seals, internal/external cleaning, and viewfinder/prism cleaning as much as possible. Invoice shows the camera was received 3/28/2026 and shipped 3/30/2026. Includes 90-day warranty from Garry’s Camera on the work performed and/or parts replaced or repaired.
The camera is clean, smooth, and ready to shoot. The XD-S is one of Minolta’s most refined manual-focus 35mm SLRs, offering an excellent combination of compact size, premium handling, aperture-priority, shutter-priority, and full manual exposure control.
The included Minolta MD 50mm f/1.7 is also in superb, clean condition. Glass is clean, with no fungus, no haze, and no oil on the aperture blades. Focus is smooth, aperture blades are clean and snappy, and the lens presents beautifully.
The included Minolta Auto 200X flash has been tested and is working. It comes with the custom Minolta pouch shown in the photos.
This is a ready-to-use Minolta film kit in unusually clean “time capsule” condition.
