Wouldn't hold your breath when the 65 exists.
it's a macro lens that's not available on the M mount. that's a different use case. it's also telescoping so it's not going to work well with the rangefinder.
i do have it on the Nikon Z mount and it's phenomenal
Thanks Fred for exellent review.
I would be more tempted if both Voigtlanders the 75mm f/2.8 APO-Skopar & 50mm f/3.5 Apo-Lanthar (II) where Z mount... I prefer their rendering to the f2 versions.
Mostly wide open at f/2.8. Post processing was kept minimal, with only light sharpening and the Adobe Color (high contrast) profile applied.
No corrections were applied for distortion, vignetting, or chromatic aberration, allowing the lens's native rendering characteristics to be seen more clearly.

Excited for this one. Happy to see it works so well adapted. It'll be the last piece in a small manual focus kit for travel and city/urban areas for me.
Really excited to check this lens out. I've had the 75 f/1.5 nokton for a bit but unfortunately I never grab it to take it out because of the larger size and slightly weird ergonomics on my rangefinder. Looks like this one will at a minimum fix those issues for me.
I actually just got mine today from Cameraquest. Really impressed by it, my excitement about this lens was absolutely warranted. The smaller size really makes a massive difference in use on my M. There's zero viewfinder blockage and a really nice usable focus tab. Really enjoying it so far.

For those who have already received the lens, please feel free to post some photos and share your impressions. I'll be linking all FM member sample images at the top of the review so they're easy for everyone to find.
I wish they'd release something like this for Sony. I really need a longer lens because my 65mm APO Lanthar is too big and heavy to travel with (and I wouldn't mind something a little longer than 65mm as well). The 75mm they put out is too large as well. I would love to have a 35mm APO Lanthar/75mm (Voigt-compact) travel kit.

As Fred's review makes clear, the lens adapts very well and performs about as well on a Sony camera as a Leica M camera. You could always adapt it. If you get the TT artisans 6-bit adapter, you can set the adapter to 75mm and it will even record the focal length for EXIF data and proper IBIS.

My review of those pictures differs, so I'd prefer a Sony version.
