p.1 #1 · Can someone send me a C-RAW photo taken with an R5?

I currently own an RP and am torn between an R5 and R6 II for my next body. This isn't one of the many "which is better" or "which is for me" posts. I've read those aplenty. There is one factor I still have to consider and that's the impact the 45MP C-RAW files produced by the R5 will have when editing them in Lightroom Desktop with my specific hardware.

This is my ask for the group. Could anyone please send me a C-RAW (not RAW) CR3 file from their R5? Anything will do, ideally with plenty of contrast, highlights and shadows.

Thank you!

I'm not sure if this is what you are asking but I would think that Lightroom uncompresses the C-RAW and then works with that so there would be no difference between a C-RAW file and a regular RAW file from a performance standpoint other than the initial uncompress. You could test this with your RP. If it's just the file size from a 45MP sensor that you're concerned with, you can download R5 raw files from the dpreview site (see their Canon R5 review).

Not exactly, but what Kameratrollet provided should help.
