This kind gentleman saved me in Savannah. I left my phone on a bench in Ellis Square, only to discover that hours later. He found the phone, left the square and later decided to return thinking someone might show up looking for the phone. When I reached the square he was telling Scott (@sbeme) about the phone. Needless to say I was relieved, thanked him, and offered to buy him dinner. He declined, instead accepting my offered finder's fee and went on his way. He was agreeable to waiting a moment for me to grab a shot or two.
The "greatest generation". So very few left. Thanks for the reminder that a few of them are still with us.
Very touching story and wonderful imagery.
