Maybe this has happened to you.
You saw a new camera you simply had to have, and so bought it as soon as it was announced.
This is what happened to me with this Nikon FM3a and the unique companion Nikkor 45/2.8p that was released in conjunction.
However, at that time I was also involved heavily in digital already, and so continue to this day.
As a result, this camera and lens have remained quietly packed away in my closet, year after year, awaiting reuse.
I was proud of them, and wanted to hang onto them, but after all this time I must admit I haven't used them. I kept making excuses to myself that I really needed to keep my precious!
But now I must face reality, so now it's time for a new home, and an owner who will really appreciate it. All these years later, the camera and lens have sat unused, like new, without any blemish I can see.
The only time it is being used is right now, since I have put an old roll of film in it so that I can test it and ensure functionality. Camera has body cap, flash connector port cap, battery, non-Nikon neckstrap.
Works fine, meter is fine.
This is a unique opportunity to own this set-up in virtually unused, open box condition
Camera has original Nikon body cap, non-Nikon neck strap, installed battery, pc cable plug. I could not find the box, unfortunately.

This pancake lens was introduced and sold in conjunction with the then-new FM3a. Lens has the companion and brushed chrome-like color coordinated front and rear caps, Nikon filter, and original unique lens hood. The lens has a unique and beautiful rendering, in a classic design. The lens and hood are metal, with AI-S and CPU contacts, in a unique, sort of light gray color.
This lens, like the FM3a body I am selling, has been packed away in my closet, and is in unused, open-box like condition
$459 my net.
