I met up with a fellow FM member, Aditya (thedutt) at my favorite park the other day (I'm hoping some of his wildlife skills with rub off on me). We had a great time in a very relaxed setting.
Here are a few shots from the visit. I've included a scenic shot of the park pond for the sake of context (Pardon my breach of proper forum).

1 and 4 are the standouts for me Greg. I like your landscape and including an establishment shot is standard practice for publication and I'm suppressed more don't do it here. It's also a nature image so it fits. I love the turning position you caught the green heron in yet the background is not helping the image. Possibly lighting the background and/or some selective removal might work. It's an image that's worth playing with.
1 Nicely done on the Phoebe, focus is where it needed to be
2 What did you do to that crazy chicken bird!! got him changing his mind!!
3 An always fun subject
4 Very nice feel to this one Greg, very pretty image
5 Great catch! Both of you
6 Ohhhh, that is a beauty

Thanks, Morris. Thanks for the suggestion on the Greenie shot -- I'll look in to that.
