I have used one for years and it is absolutely an incredible piece of glass for this price. Added bonus it works better on Z8/Z9 then F mount. But it works great on F mount also for anyone wondering. GLWS

thanks I found it takes the sigma 1.4 tc better than the Nikon 500mm f4 FL E takes the nikon TC
I dimly remember the photographer Brad Hill comparing this lens to the Nikon 500/4 and in his opinion, the Sigma was better. Sharper and maybe faster af.

I bought one of these right here, and it's a fantastic lens!!! I've used it with the D850, D500, and now with the Z8. For that price, you can't find anything that even comes close! It's far, far superior to the Z 600 PF 6.3.
I’d only trade it for a Z600 f4 TC, but there’s a big price difference
