p.1 #1 · Lincoln, Nebraska

I've visited the Nebraska State Capitol building in Lincoln several times. Most of my photographs capture the more iconic scenes on the main floor--the Great Hall, murals and legislative chamber. This time I concentrated mostly on the lower level. This level has a midieval times vibe...and seemed more like a dark dungeon. I very much enjoyed creating compositions of the corridors and staircases down there.

I've included a couple of other B&W scenes from the nearby downtown area and the campus (University of Nebraska).

Just BEAUTIFUL photography Glenn! I am always amazed that there is never, or seldom, people in the frame! Everything crisp , clean and toned to perfection.
Again amazing photography!

Thanks Dan...I always strive to capture architectural images without people in the frame. However, I think I should include some people on occasion...but I tend not to.

Thanks Tom...#3 took the most time and maneuvering to compose. That ended up being my favorite composition of the visit.

Thanks again...

Outside of the interesting interior work, the 2nd to last one stands out to me.

Beautiful architectural series, Glenn. Like them clean without any distractions. #3 is my pick. It has the dark-light-dark vibe and composed really well.

Thank you, Sreedjar…3 is my favorite as well. The composition was challenging given the spacing down there.

These are great. Also, surprising to me (I never expected Nebraska architecture to look like this...)

Thank you...I wasn't expecting this type of architecture in the state capitol building.
