I said that the increase from 60 to 66 (approx) MP is not a reason to upgrade (from, say, an Z7r5). In fact, if I had the A7r5 I would not be upgrading. (Remember, I’ve used my current camera for a decade. that’s more or less the way I work.)
There are other reasons, however to upgrade from, say, a decade old 50MP camera with a 5fps burst rate and lesser high ISO performance, slower AF, etc. ;-)

Well you've got to have a backup camera - so don't upgrade, just get that backup camera
