I have a sort of dumb question! I was shooting yesterday and I filled up my SD card and got a Card 2 Full message, I thought I would be able to still continue shooting to Card 1 , but since I didn't have another SD card with me (it was in my car about 100yards away), I thought I could still continue shooting to the Card 1 but it wouldn't let me, so I just removed the SD card and was able to continue, is this the was it suppose to work?
Thanks
You probably have mirroring turned on (write to both cards), so when that's not possible, well, it's not possible. When you remove one card then that function is defunct by default.

You have to set rec options to „Auto switch card“.
The best option would be to have an option to continue writing to the bigger card if the smaller card fills when the "write to both" is being used. Unfortunately they don't offer that option.
Thanks everyone, The SD card was only for Jpg, as a backup, so it was no problem, I already have a bigger SD card, which was in my camera bag, which was 100 yds away
