It's a yes/no answer for the non-stick question. It's a process much like cast iron but the seasoning doesn't last quite as long.

I have a couple of the skillets and yeah, they aren't non-stick unless you coat them with oil. Even Ramsay put out a reel about applying a thin layer of oil before using. But I will say this about Hexclad - best salt and pepper mills I've ever used.
