p.1 #1 · Looking to repair my Light Lens Lab (LLL) 50mm Lens
I own a LLL 50mm f/1.2 ASPH. Recently, the aperture ring began rotating freely without engaging the aperture blades. However, when I apply slight inward pressure on the aperture ring, it engages properly and the aperture stops down as expected.
There appears to be some looseness in the aperture ring, almost as if it has partially decoupled from the internal mechanism. The click stops are still present, but the ring does not consistently actuate the blades unless pressure is applied.
Are there any recommendations for places/people that could repair the lens?
p.1 #2 · Looking to repair my Light Lens Lab (LLL) 50mm Lens
I have had my 28 mm repaired, LLL will do this, write them, you will need to send to Canada and they forward to China and then reverse. They do a great job and will take care of you, but expect to not have the lens for a few months given all for production that they are doing and the transport.
