R5II & RF 70-200 Z, last one with the RF 20 VCM at f/2.
It's a large stainless steel tubular 'sculpture' slash wind chime installed along the Riverfront Trail on the Detroit River in Windsor Ontario... I got caught up in abstract bokeh compositions that I didn't even bother to take a 'normal' photo of it, but the last one gives a little more idea about the design.

Yes it was a time when black and white sort of ruled my vision..but I tried to find beauty in the ugliest of places..this/yours NOT being one of those ugly places!

A young Great Blue Heron and a recent addition (immature Bald Eagle) to the watershed, shot from the kayak. I'm starting to get use to shooting with the RF 200-800mm while maneuvering in the water at the same time...

Thanks, Dan! It might be a touch over-sharpened as a result of the heavy cropping combined with the default LR export sharpening settings, but I decided to leave it as is.

I see no "oversharpening" to my eye!!! If there is, the professionalism of the editor remains evident to my eye. Sometimes we "look to close" for something that just ain't there!
Your compositions "engage" the viewer! That is art!

I picked up a 5D Mark II on the cheap....having some fun with it. Still a nice body to shoot with, even 18 years after release. These are with the 24-105mm STM and the 17-40L.
I've seen some birds watching me, over the years, while in my kayak. Today I had a "Big Bird" visit twice, after it spotted me when it crossed the border into CT from RI (the markings are from the 143rd Air Commando Group RIANG). It did a 180* high-bank turn and was dead-nutz over me on the return trip. The cormorant was just as surprised...
