It is sometimes interesting why we take a photo. I don’t think this is good or bad, it is simply just what it is. I only took this, because I have been to this same spot multiple times and this is the first time I have seen this house. I think of this as a curiosity photo, so I could take a closer look after I got home, and delete. After looking at it several times I find it kind of interesting because of the mystery of the building being surrounded by lots of brush.
This year I have had mobility issues but most Winters I have spent some days walking with a camera in nearby woodlands. Lots of trees and lots of branches and complexity. I have enjoyed and found it a challenge to pull interesting compositions and visual stories from the chaos and complexity.
As you pointed out this image tells the story of a house engulfed by forest growth. I like the vee shaped tree on the left. It helps to add a focal point to the chaos. Another such feature or two would have helped even more.
I would recommend continuing with this sort of subject matter. It can be a lot of fun to look for intriguing compositions which have appeal and hold the viewer's attention.

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I don't think this kind of photo has an appeal to a large amount of people. It is not something I might want hanging on my wall, but I was curious how others here might see it.
I have had a few chaotic woodland images accepted in local juried gallery shows and the comments were favorable in addition to the acceptance. Gallery sales in my area are almost a rarity so sales does not bother me. Basically I shoot for myself and as I mentioned these chaotic scenes represent a compositional challenge which I enjoy.
I know that when late spring comes, you won't even be able to see the house; no better camouflage. Sort of like the business and it would make for a cool texture once you clone out the building.
