This is the classic light / fast zoom from Nikon that punches above its weight. Maintains 3.5 max aperture throughout the zoom range.
This apparently was a favorite for mountain hiking/running by the late great Mr Galen Rowell, who used it for arguably what is his most famous photo, ‘Rainbow Over the Potala Palace’
The barrel shows light signs of use, but no damage (see photos). The glass looks clear and without marks.
