My Kingdom for a 500mm horseI think the customers have spoken and lens producers responded. I would think there are magnitudes more 35mm lenses sold compared to 500mm lenses.
So, is there really someone out there waiting in desperation for the 78th 35mm lens because it does something the 77 others don't? I really don't know what they are responding to at this point if (no make that when) they build another 35mm. I have owned three of them (Loxia, CV APO, and Zony 35 f2.8) but 77
Really?

I will continue my ongoing rant!! There are 77 35mm lenses!! Only 2 500mm lenses. Neither of the two 500mm's will AF with a teleconverter and no OEM 500mm exists. My Kingdom for a 500mm horse

And yet they keep building new ones and people keep buying new ones…as you yourself owned 3 different ones.
