I wound up with two of these. IMO... this is the best thumb grip made for the Sony RX1R III.

It has the best thumb position of all the third party options. I tried a few different ones, IDS, JJC, and even the Sony.

This is the Iborrys brand... that is available on Amazon for $50.00.
