Love the "turret" in #2! The little town near me has many. Some with intricate tile work along the top as this building has also!

Thank you Dan. Guelph became a very prosperous city due to the many manufacturing industries that settled there.
I just read an interesting fact about Guelph. In 1843 there were nine breweries serving 700 people living in Guelph. One could call that a good service to the population .
One of the breweries was managed by John Sleeman who eventually bought the company and founded Silver Creek Brewery in 1851. It then became Sleeman Brewerey and now Sleeman in Guelph is own by Sapporo Brewerey.
